Sponsor A Girl…Join Our 100 for 100 Giving Campaign

One person CAN change a girl’s world for a lifetime. First Ladies' vision is to mentor 100 middle and high school female students on an annual basis. This community of leaders’ direct giving of $1,000+ a year or $100 per month will target one girl’s programming year for 21 weeks of after-school mentor leadership development.

Donors can elect to be matched with a female student whose academic, career, or personal backgrounds match their own or in tribute (in honor or memory of) someone. Our goal is to partner with 100 professional or civic female and male leaders committed to pledging $1,000+ annually in championing our cause of girl mentorship. Donations help fund 1-girl’s afterschool meeting materials, College 101 bible (high school level), professional headshots, spirit wear, Induction Ceremony, International Day of The Girl/Program Launch Items, birthday gifts, annual dues, etc.

Join Our Circle of Givers

First Ladies is on a mission to build purpose-minded women. This community of First Ladies givers are generous, multi-generational visionaries who are bold about girls, mentorship, education, empowerment, and representation from the classroom, dining room, and board room. They come as men and women who are committed to strategizing on ways to create viable roadmaps for breaking glass ceilings, producing valuable exposure opportunities to the corporate world, shifting the trajectories of single-parent households, and making a serious strategic global impact with strength and dignity.

They show up as small / women-owned / minority-owned business owners, associations, and civic / faith-based groups who are passionate about giving back and serving as First Ladies community mentors, committee members, or volunteers at our fundraising activities – (i.e. annual end-of-year scholarship awards banquet). Join the Circle of Givers!

Coming into First Ladies, I did not fully grasp the magnitude of influence the organization would have on my life. My 7th grade self just had an open mind and open heart…I was eager to learn.

Become an Alumnae Circle Giving Partner

First Ladies alumnae have many fond middle or high school memories where they were inspired to apply leadership principles to their lives. Alumnae have also build strong bonds with life-long sisters and have had one-of-a-kind community service activities or college leadership experiences which have prepared them for success. They give back because they see the importance of alumnae donations as part of keeping the mission of First Ladies alive for the next generation of sisters.

Alumnae give back to the rising women coming after them by making a yearly contribution of at least $50 or serve on the Alum Committee or by facilitating 2 afterschool sessions during the school year with the current middle or high school mentees. Donations from former students help fund important initiatives such as our student incentive program or a token from the alumni.

In addition to our alumnae support, many families say, “They wish there was a First Ladies when they were growing up.” Alumnae families who have benefited from First Ladies in one way or another while their youth participated in the program give at least $150 annually to increase student scholarships or serve on the College Care Committee or Parent Auxiliary Council to provide a better enrichment experience for the next generation of First Ladies. Family donations help fund college book scholarships or families needing assistance with dues.

How Your Volunteerism Can Make A Difference

Every hour of volunteerism makes an impact on the life of a young lady participating in First Ladies. Volunteers who serve as board members, mentors, and helpers with our Make A Difference Community Service Days, facilitating workshops, serving on The Interview Day Committee, Mentor-mentee matching day, Christmas/Valentine's Day Annual Tea, Induction Ceremony, Fall Launch/ Winter Re-Launch or helping behind the scenes with digital communications helps to fulfill our mission to train and equip girls around the world.

According to UN Volunteers, Volunteerism is about people’s need to participate in their societies, as a basic expression of human relationships, and is an enormous renewable resource for social, economic, and environmental problem-solving throughout the world. More than 1 billion people volunteer globally - in their own countries and communities – and they are rewarded with feeling that they matter to others. The ethos of volunteerism is infused with values such as solidarity, reciprocity, mutual trust, belonging and empowerment, all of which contribute significantly to quality of life. Listed below are 4 ways to feel healthier and happier in life by way of volunteering.

Benefits of volunteering:
